Fire Sprinklers - A Fire Sprinkler or sprinkler head is the component of a fire sprinkler
system that discharges water when the effects of a fire have been detected, such as
when a predetermined temperature has been exceeded. These are fitted with
temperature sensitive glass filled with mercury. At predetermined temperature is
reached, the glass breaks and water is sprinkled over the fire area.
Pressure Gauge – These are installed near the pump and near critical points in the
fire system to check the pre-requisite pressure maintained in the system. It shows
the current pressure of the fire extinguisher and that it hasn't been used or
damaged and is within the proper psi range for that particular Fire Extinguisher.
Fire Signage – Signage is very important as they serve the purpose of giving
information to the building users and fire department teams during fire outbreak.
They show the location of fire – fighting and Fire–Alarm equipment such as fire
extinguishers, fire hose reels, risers, valves and fire alarm pull stations.
